Insert an opening pick

  • Secure a suction handle to the bottom edge of the back cover, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If the back cover is cracked, the suction handle may not stick. Try lifting it with strong tape, or superglue the suction handle in place and allow it to cure so you can proceed.

  • Lift the back cover with the suction handle to create a small gap between the back cover and the frame.

  • If you have trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to further soften the adhesive. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap you created.

  • Slide the opening pick to the bottom left corner to slice the adhesive.

  • Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Ein Plektrum einsetzen

Befestige einen Saugheber an der Rückseite des Smartphones, so nah an der Unterkante wie möglich.

Wenn die Rückabdeckung zerbrochen ist, haftet der Saugheber wahrscheinlich nicht gut. Versuche, ihn mit starkem Klebeband anzuheben oder klebe den Saugheber mit Sekundenkleber fest, bevor du weiterarbeitest.

Hebe die Rückabdeckung mit dem Saugheber hoch, um einen schmalen Spalt zwischen der Rückabdeckung und dem Rahmen zu erzeugen.

Wenn das schwer geht, dann erwärme den Kleber nochmals, um ihn weiter aufzuweichen. Beachte die Anleitung für den iOpener, um ein Überhitzen zu vermeiden.

Setze ein Plektrum in den eben entstandenen Spalt ein.

Schiebe das Plektrum zum Auftrennen des Klebers zur unteren linken Ecke hin.

Lasse das Plektrum stecken, damit sich der Kleber nicht wieder verbinden kann.
