iPod mini replacement gone awry

My iPod mIni's battery was dying, and I wanted to replace it to get more life out of it.

Not well. The two screwdrivers (#00 Phillips and a flathead) look to be decent. It was a little hard prying out the white tabs, but after that, disassembly was easy.

THE BATTERY THEY GIVE YOU IS LARGER THEN THE ORIGINAL. That's worked out okay for most of the repair stories I've seen, but not this one. When I went to put the entire assembly back in, I wasn't careful enough and the battery was struggling to fit... resulting in a component giving in. Namely, I cracked my screen. Don't know how to repair that one.

The bit around the crack still works at least... bleh.
