I wanted to use my old phone as a screen for my home automation. But the battery was swollen so bad it separated the back off the case. I needed to replace the sketchy battery, to avoid burning down my house.

Easy peasy, with the Ifixit tools and how-to! The bloated battery did all the case separating for me. All I had to do was unscrew the internals and separate the battery from the phone. I used a heat gun (carefully) on the screen to soften up the battery adhesive.

내 조언

Patience. Adhesives slowly give up their grip. And pulling harder doesn't really make it go any faster. It just increases the chances of putting a hole in the battery pouch or breaking something.
