The easiest way I have found for accessing the bootloader / fastboot on most Android phones is to install ADB (a part of Android Studio) and enable Debugging on the phone. With debugging enabled and ADB installed plug your phone into your computer, open a terminal / command prompt window and type "adb devices", without quotes, and hit enter. If it lists your phone then we can proceed with "adb reboot bootloader", also without quotes. If you phone is not listed when you use "adb devices" then you will want to make sure the appropriate drivers are installed.

This will also give you a clean install if you choose to format the hard drive during installation.

Do this by restarting the computer and pressing F8 during the boot process, then select "Safe Mode". You may see a black screen with lots of white text scroll by, this is normal, grab a cup of coffee and wait. You will eventually be presented with a Windows Login screen. If the admin user "Administrator" is available, click on it, and there will be 1 of 2 results. The "bad" result would be Windows giving you the same error, whereas the result we want is Windows signing in and loading into Safe Mode. If Windows lets you in and shows you the main desktop, we should be able to easily resolve the password issue. Below you will find a brief summary of steps, however I am providing these from memory and may have missed something. 1. Go to Control Panel 2. Open the "User Accounts" option (If in category view click the larger green text) 3. Click "Manage...

That being said I have recently taken apart my Garmin Nuvi and found that the battery leads (colored wires) are soldered to the board. It is still possible to replace the battery but it will be more difficult and poses more risks than one that uses a connector.
더 읽어보기As usual with broad questions there are many possible causes for this issue. Here is a short list of what I would check. If you are unsure about any of the terms or descriptions below DO NOT DO THIS YOURSELF, find a trained professional. 1. BIOS Settings - If possible reboot the computer and press the correct key on your keyboard to access the BIOS, usually F2, F12 or even DEL. Once you are in the BIOS menu navigate to the RAID settings and ensure they are all turned off. 2. On-board battery - Nearly every motherboard (after the companies stopped using the Dallas RT Chip) has an on-board battery. This battery ensures the BIOS does not lose any settings, but their voltage will eventually drop low enough that they no longer work. 3. Hard Drive - It is possible that the hard drive has failed and the computer is unable to read it properly. This can result in the clicking sound described, which in my experience usually the result of the tiny read/write armature inside moving in ways it is not supposed to....
