It sounds like your chargeport has failed. If that's the case; you need to purchase the chargeport and install it. If you're not comfortable with that, then you can bring it to a local repair store and they usually can do it for a reasonable price. Just search "broken phone" or "phone repair" in Google and some relevant search results will show up!

When you say "menu key" - what are you talking about? Sounds like you had to replace your home button? If so, your touch id will not function on an aftermarket home button.
