You are very unlucky to buy a 2011 model Kenmore Elite tl. That production line is known for its rust problems. But don't worry with a couple of quick steps it will be better than before. What you need: - Vinegar, 5.2 cubic foot of vinegar to be exact. (I might be remembering the capacity of the machine incorrect) - Toilet brush. Preferably an old one, to throw away afterwards. - Neodymium magnets, as much as you can find more the merrier. What to do: 1. Put the vinegar inside the machine. Yes, all of it. No, don't hesitate. 2. You don't want that rust going through your plumbing, do you? No. Take that magnets and throw them in to collect the dust into a ball. 3. Take that toilet brush and scrape thoroughly inside of the machine for half an hour. Or less. 4. Let it sit for 4.5 hours. Until rust has fully changed the color of the vinegar. 5. After this the machine must be working. Plug the machine. And vinegar will drain when you start a program.
