(THIS MAY NOT BE THE TYPE OF ANSWER YOU’RE LOOKING FOR) I basically grinded down the metal selfie camera thing that holds it in place, so that it literally only covers the camera and not the speaker. I only put in the bottom 2 screws on the speaker. I also had to sand off the top right corner of the speaker to remove the screw hole so that when I attach the camera mount it doesn't tighten the speaker. I agree I probably could have done a better job at fixing it correctly and I still don't know what the root of the issue is, but incase anyone else has this exact issue this worked for me.
