I have a comment on here - but I did a Youtube also: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btOu-PZqHzg I'm not good at that. But, in addition to keeping the temp on low & sheilding the water spigot - I made a 1" thick styrofoam door to thaw the freezer door/ice maker. This temp styrofoam door will keep the food cold & it also pushes in the run-button so you can leave the freezer door open for a long time to be sure the frozen parts are thawed. Eventually your icemaker may freeze up again - just put the 1" foam in place for for two or three hours and then you might be back in business for another couple of years.
