Hey there! My name is Aakarshak Jain and I'm a student at York University pursuing bachelors in Information Technology. I am also working part time in food service industry.

Since childhood, I've been really interested in computers, automobiles and motorsports in general. A few years ago i moved to Canada to pursue higher education here, and Its been a real pleasure to study and work here. In my time spent here, I've completed Diploma in Computer and network support technician, Certification in CompTIA A+, and right now doing Bachelors in Information Technology.

A few years ago I made a line sensing robot that utilizes infrared sensors to follow lines accurately. With its Arduino-based programming, the robot can autonomously navigate along predefined paths, it was also powered by two big batteries. It was my first project and it took me a long time to finish but when it worked I was really happy. It was somewhat slow and needed some optimization so after doing that it worked perfectly.

I don't have that much experience in repairing stuff but I do dabble a bit here and there. I've taken apart a lot of remote control cars and took their batteries and put in other toys. I am really excited to work on my iFixit project as it will be helpful to me and others as well.
