Hi, I am Yue, a senior student in UC Davis. I majored in Math and Design—These fields let me blend logic with creativity, offering tools to explore both structured and abstract aspects of the world. I chose these majors because I enjoy problem-solving and innovative thinking and am excited by the endless design possibilities technologies.

I aspire to build a career in UI/UX or front-end development, creating intuitive and engaging user experiences. Eventually, I hope to work in a role that allows me to merge design, technology, and functionality, making daily interactions easier, more enjoyable, and accessible.

Skills

• Programming: Strong in Python, with interests in using it for data analysis, machine learning, and simulations.

• Design: Proficient in UI/UX design and prototyping tools like Figma.

• Creative: Skilled in painting (watercolor, oil, and digital) and visual communication.

• Analytical: Knowledge of math topics such as Partial Differential Equations, Ordinary Differential Equations, and probability.

Projects/Accomplishments

• Designed a mobile app for university students to share lecture notes and learning resources.

• Developed a game called “Ocean Champion” to raise awareness about ocean conservation.

• Built a small-scale automated system using Arduino to explore how natural light affects sleep.

Repair Experience

I’m relatively new to repair, but I’m eager to learn. I’d love to improve my understanding of small electronics, particularly in areas that could enhance my design and tech skills.
