My OWC was not recognised after installation following these steps. Internet recovery did not work with my Macbook pro 2015 model A1501. I had to use a bootable USB flash drive which I created on a macbook Air 2013 model A1466 for OS Big Sur. I learnt that internet recovery resets the firmware to factory settings of the mac, so even if you had OS High Sierra before you replace the HDD with SSD, internet recovery sets the firmware to a lower OS.
