You will need to find a replacement screen, for it is pretty well impossible to fix a cracked LCD screen. However, there are lots of youtube videos explaining how to dismantle a notebook screen to replace it with another good one. It should be not too difficult to find a replacement part on ebay, or other places on the net. If you go to HP and search for your exact model notebook, you should be able to download the service manual for your notebook, which will have replacement part numbers for each part of the notebook. Use this part number to find a replacement LCD screen by searching the net with that part number. Sometimes you need to first remove the screen from the lid housing, to find out how many pins the connector that connects the LCD to the motherboard has. And if you can not find a service manual, then when you have removed the LCD screen, there will be part numbers on a sticky label...
