when you fix the screen you must power down first. You also must unplug the battery. Try cycling power by unplugging the battery for 1 minute then reinstalling
You can try this. Unplug the battery and replug.It is always a good idea to make sure the device is powered off when starting a repair. Sometimes the device does not recognize the new screen.
