Faulty Charger
If you are having some problems charging your JBL Clip 4 speakers, there are a couple of things you need to check. First, make sure that the problem is with the speakers and not the charger. We would recommend that, if possible, you test your charger by using it on another device and see if that device charges.
Software Glitch
Once you have determined that the issue is with the JBL Clip 4 speakers, we would recommend that you reset your speakers. In order to reset the JBL Clip 4 speakers, first turn on the JBL speaker by pressing the power button. The power button can be found on the left-hand side of the JBL speaker above the Bluetooth button. Then you need to find the Bluetooth and the volume up button. The Bluetooth button can generally be located on the left-hand side of the JBL speaker, below the power button. The volume up button can be found on the front of the speaker and looks like the plus symbol (+). Hold these two buttons down for ten seconds or until the speaker shuts off. Hard resetting will remove the speaker from your device’s Bluetooth history, restart your device, and re-pair the speaker.
Faulty Charging Port
If you are still having problems with charging, you should check the charging port for any dirt, dust, or any other objects that can be lodged in it. Once cleaned, check if the JBL speakers are charging properly. If it still doesn’t charge you may need to replace the USB charging port. A replacement guide can be found here
Faulty Battery
If you have gone through every other option, the issue may be with your battery. It could be damaged, or swollen, in which case it will need to be replaced. A replacement guide can be found here
