Problem: no backlight after replacing the LCD and touch screen.
The fix:
1. Put it under a bright light so you can see the dim background.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Go the bottom where it says, "Reset."
4. Click on Reset. It will ask you to click reset. Do it!
5. Your iPad should reset and the backlight should come on.
It worked for me. It saved me from buying a new one $$$! I love this site.

The fix:
-1. Put it under a bright light.so you can see the dim background.
