Do not simply change your PCB, what about the ROM? This action will not help you.

Is the drive spinning, then shutting down? Or is it repeatedly clicking?

Please give a better diagnosis if you can.

BTW if the HDD is not detected by the system it will be fault not fixable DIY sorry, take it to a local DR pro for a correct analysis and recovery.
