If the menu screens display OK on the LCD screen without having to press the camera case then it appears as though the camera’s CCD image sensor cable may have a loose connection.
Here’s a link to a [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRzLCNEVq_M|video] that shows how to replace the image sensor. Hopefully you don’t have to replace it, just dis-assemble the camera far enough so that you can check that the sensor’s cable connection is OK.
