As it is unknown what you have tried so far, have you ensured that there are two 12V DC power feeds connected to the unit?

Did you try resetting the unit by pressing the reset button?

It has the schematics so perhaps the best place to start is by checking that all the power rails in the unit are OK when it is turned on.
Also a close visual inspection of the main board and sub board may also give a clue especially if any components seem obviously damaged.

There is no troubleshooting section in the manual so unfortunately the reason the the error symbol is not explained.
