paul, the Code 12 is a system ok code. Reset your codes and double check for any other error codes. As for not firing, the error could be in the coil pack. It has a ignition control module that is underneath, and when it goes out, you have no spark. It could also be that the crankshaft positon sensor is bad, and not sending information to fire the coil for that cylinder.
