Central guide button has jammed

Right heres the problem, the guide button in my limited editionxbox 360 controller has jammed in place an now trys turning off the xbox every few minutes. I've not spilt anything on it, this is the only controller I've got thats suffered this problem, I've tried cleaning it with a mild alcohol cleaner which did nothing I also tried giving it a quick blast with compressed air which did nothing, is their anything I can do to fix this without soldering.

James Roff, take a look at this guide. Clean all components with alcohol, all rubber and plastic components with mild detergent,. Take a look at the corresponding ends and see if you can find where it jams.

Had to use a fine glass paper to smooth the guide button as it was rough and stocking but apart from that your advice was spot on =) cheers
