hey guys, I have recently had a problem where when I unplugged my Alienware horizontal lines went through my screen. It seems to only happen when my brightness goes down. they are moving up and down and seem to be the same color as the background where they are. PLEASE help me out I had planned to sell this laptop and I am sure the price would go down if lines constantly go throughout the screen.

nickmcd14, connect an external monitor and see what that does. Should those lines appear on the external monitor, then you have issues with your graphics processor on your logic board. Should they not appear, you are having issues with your LCD. Of course you want to check the LVDS cable, make sure it is properly seated etc. Most likely is that you are having tab errors on your LCD. Hope this helps, good luck
