My flash does not work

Does it not work as in not fire, or not pop up?

If it doesn't pop up, there could be debris preventing it from working correctly. Check for debris and if you find any, clear it out with a soft cloth or toothpick or even a soft bristle toothbrush.

Also, if it isn't popping up correctly, it could be that the spring attached to the flash has either broken or come loose.

If the flash isn't firing then the bulb could be out.

Also, you should be able to go into the settings on the camera to make sure the flash is turned on, or that it is dark enough where you are trying to take a picture for the flash to actually fire.
