jeaddy4, yes you can, if you can find it. Check the weight in the vibration system and make sure that the gear is okay. Take a look on here

Yes! Your answer help me find and repair the problem. The small gear (about a quarter inch in size) that fits into the larger gear was broken. The small white gear that was attached to the motor. Thank you.
Good for the older Elmos. Is it the same for the later ones?
