I just bought my replacment rear screen yesterday i tried to replace it, but i couldn't remove the original. I could tear down almost totally (i removed even the battery box) but then i stuck. Thanks for any help.

Thanks for your answer, but in the meantime i could replace it, and it solved my problem, now its like i have a new camera. It was tricky with that button cable but i made it work.

How hard was it to replace it? Did you use a tutorial? I can't see to find one online

Tom - can you please share how you replaced it? I can not figure out how to remove rear lcd without damaging anything and all tear down videos I've watched do not show this being removed.

I just replaced mine last night. it is glued to the black frame and has to be gently pried and re-glued. You may have to transfer the touch screen on/off toggle switch from the old screen assembly if the replacement you bought doesn't have one. Mine didnt so I had to remove and re-solder the button. Takes some advanced skills to do it but it was very quick and easier than I expected. I did crack my front lcd while removing it but it was already broken and needing to be replaced. It is also glued down.
