Cannot get the phone to start

Hi,

Try the following:

Remove the battery, wait for about 10 seconds, then reinsert the battery.

Here is a video that shows how to remove the battery. The battery only has connections at one end so when you replace it make sure the terminals are in the correct position. Also don't miss it in the video the battery removal is complete within the first 27 seconds .

See if it will charge/start now.

If not try performing a factory reset.

Be aware a factory reset will erase all your downloaded apps and user data . It will restore your phone to a factory default condition. It will be like when you first bought it.

To reset your phone:

1. Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then press and hold the POWER button.
2. Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the POWER and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
3. Press VOLUME DOWN to select FACTORY RESET, and then press the POWER button.

Be patient, it takes a few minutes.

If you cannot perform a factory reset due to the phone not responding, unfortunately and obviously the phone is faulty. Perhaps a professional phone repair service may be able to repair it. Ask for a quote first.

If your phone is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer's customer service section regarding a warranty replacement.
