How can I find the sensor to replace?
It seems like my sensor is broken. How can I find a suitable one to replace?

The activation sensor is located on the top in the middle of the feed slot. If the activation sensor is no longer functional, there is no way to start the shredder while in "Auto/On" mode, therefore the sensor needs to be replaced.

Is there a manufacturer name and part number for the sensor?
I don't see any information on the troubleshooting guide about sensor replacement. Is this a faulty link?
I had the electric eye sensor that made the shredder go on and off on my Kobra shredder. I just ordered it for $14 www.kobraparts.com Keep in mind it did take me about 45 minutes to put it in and get all the screws back in place. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the hardest I would give it a 4.

On the kobra model do you think they would have the beatings for the cutter head? Mine screech every time it comes on now... uggg!
