So the original battery charges fine green light goes on as normal but just got a replacement battery a Fry's electronics it's the right one for my camera it only go in one way so that's not an issue but when I go to charge it automatically goes to red ( error)? Side by side comparison they are identical.

Daren, id it "it charges the original battery just not the replacement one" you have a bad replacement battery. Contact the vendor and have it replaced.

Yes the charger is good it charges the original battery just not the replacement one? The green charging light just goes straight to red(error) with the new one?
