Printer states print head is bad, what do I do

Printer won't print. Says print head is bad or unplugged. It is not unplugged. I have unplugged the cords in the back, but I still get this error message. Please advise what I need to do.

Try cleaning the printhead

To clean the printhead from the control panel

1.

Load Letter, A4, or Legal unused plain white paper into the main input tray. For

more information, see

Load standard-size media.

2.

Touch

(right arrow), and then touch Setup

3.

Touch

Tools, and then touch

Clean Printhead
