Printer will not take in paper

My printer is a Kodak ESP C110 but it has recently stopped taking paper into the machine in order to print. It tries to take it in but fails and says there is no paper in the machine, which there' IS. In spite of several attempts it still says no paper is there. Earlier it did take in A5 paper and print, but will not accept A4. Help please!
