How to fix my tablet volume button?

Here is a link to the ifixit repair guides for your tablet. They are useful in that they will show you how to open the tablet to gain access to the volume control buttons' flex cable assembly.

Here is a link to a possible replacement part, I think. I'm not sure if the G4X is the same as the G4 model as regards to this particular part. You may be able to determine if they are the same by comparing the one in your tablet against the one shown in the link. If they aren't the same perhaps you will have better luck finding a replacement part.
