SSD replacement Toshiba Chromebook 2 2014

Hello

I would like to know if it's possible tu change the ssd on this model, i open the back of the pc and wondering if it is under the metal piece stuck to the proc ? i don't have termal pate at the moment so i dont want to take the risk; and wonder if someone know the answer ?

Hey buddy. I am assuming you have the cb30 104 model like me? If so, I beleive you can pop open the chromebook and check. If the ssd is soldered to the motherboard, then there is your answer:)
