Speedometer works when it wants
speedometer works when it wants RPM gauge works just fine. could the wires on the sensor be loose? Where is the sensor located? 1995 Honda Accord 5 speed thank you

Best bet is to replace the speed sensor . You need to remove the air cleaner and look down on the back side of the motor where the motor meets the gearbox . Under the distributer and the water hoses on the gearbox

Is this in the same location for a 95 Accord LX, Automatic 2.2L?
There's a good chance your speed sensor is going bad, specifically the speed control sensor. I had the same issue in mine. So...what Jimfixer up there said
