I bought a Samsung S8+ and had a liquid glass protectant put on the device, front and back. Fine, absolutely no problem. Then I got the Note 8 and had the same thing done. The Note 8 glass is messed up all around the edges, front and back. How can I remove the liquid glass protectant and not mess up the the screen? What should I use? Help, phone is only 3 days old!!!!

Who put the protector on your device? The polymer coating buffs out as a clear coat. You virtually shouldn’t see it. When you say “messed up” like scratches or not evenly coated?? If they didn’t coat the phone evenly the only thing you could do add more and buff out the coating following the directions. But the coating should be reapplied at 11 months if you went with gadget guard but to remove it you might cause more problems like scratches or cracking the len with too much pressure. If the device is ghost touching itself. You may already need to send it in to Samsung for a manufacture defect if there is no physical damage, liquid (water type not the polymer coating, if you witnessed the coating of the device you would see it isn’t like water and doesn’t flow freely), or deep scratches in the lens.

clear coats can scratch correct? i put a liquid protector on my 12.9 pro and there is a scratch in the liquid screen protector are you saying that i should apply more to cover the scratch? its not the glass thats scratched
I'm wondering the same thing. The guys at the sprint store put cell helmet liquid glass on my phone, and there are now scratches all over it. They are small fine scratches in the coating, not the actual glass.
I put it on my phone dropped it once then it's all chipped on the sized and cracked in two places...what can I do to fix it
I had the coating done for me. And not less than 6 months...my screen is messed up... everything is cracked right now... happened about 15-30 mins ago. I'm crying

Well I got scared when I read that it couldn't be removed. Nothing was wrong with mind when I installed it but just the fact that I couldn't remove it like the tempered glass made me un-easy until I installed the tempered glass screen over it and about eight hours later there were bubbles in the tempered glass that was probably do to thw liquid glass screen protector so I finally decided to pull the tempered glass screen protector back off to try and resection it and the liquid glass screen pilled right off with it just as easy as can be and my screen is perfectly find. So I guess it can be removed and can be removed without damaging your actual phone screen.

Can you tell me how to remove liquid protector before I put on tempered glass?
Liquid screen protector (scented $50 alcohol wipes) is a scam. You can't remove something that evaporated as it was being put on. They claim 9H hardness "nano-technology" bla bla bla. Modern day placebo snake oil is all it is.
Well that's just not true. It does however leave round water spot looking marks all over the screen that doesn't buff off or even scrape off. It does something. It adds a layer of something to the screen but it has an undesirable effect. So it most definitely doesn't evaporate while applying it. But it will however ruin your screen

Just Peel it off like tempered glass. It's just a cheap plastic coating. I got it a weeks ago and already have major scratches. Over Priced.

Mine has gotton cracked & it's not supposed to crack, It has went in all bbn directions. Also, it makes it harder to click with 1 touch

I've checked a few places such as reddit and Qmadix. The consensus is it cannot be removed without damaging the liquid glass or the phone. There seems to be a lot of complaints regarding this type of protectant.
Qmadix doesn't exactly say "no", but their answer is "Interesting but why would you?".
Reddit's response "not possible".

I have the note 9 and use gadget quard liquid glass....no scratches yet. I've had the phone almost a month. But cell helmet does make a scratch remover solution.
I have the Galaxy S8 and the store put on the Qmadix Screen Protector. IT was find for several months. But now my picture quality is terrible. The camera keeps asking me to clean my screen. I clean my screen front/back camera views but it is still takes cloudy pictures. The film is not one that can be removed with "picking". Any suggestions? The S8 feature is dramatically reduced to the cloudy picture resolution.

I believe I've seen ppl use Mr. Clean magic eraser in test review videos. I know I use one a liter because they really dip seem to clean almost everything in closing permanent market. It appeared to do the trick. Hope it works for you, good luck!

One friend recommended to leave the phone exposed to sun beams for a couple of hours every day and like all polymers sun rays will cause the coating film to degrade
Actually i didn't try it but idk maybe it works with someone

If your speaking about white looking scratches or coating around edge they make another touch up liquid gold on eBay that will remove this.

I have cell helmet liquid glass on my iPhone about 4 months and I have 2 kids who get a hold of my phone all the time .so I decided why not try it and I am happy with the product my phone been dropped about 7 times since I put it on and it protected my phone so good I don’t have any crack or scratches. I love this stuff and I recommend it for anyone who has children with phones .

It seems far better to lock the phone away, give them a old $50 used tablet to break, mess up, play with.
However...
Why would you allow an expensive device that you depend on into kids hands?? Adults break things often enough, cell phones are fragile and kids will much quicker destroy them.
If they're under 13 or 14 why would you let kids waste their time on more electronic screens?
They already spend too much time on screens, not exercising so they aren't as healthy as kids 30 or 40 years ago. Also cell phones are changing our brains. It really isn't healthy for kids to have a tiny boob-tube they can take around everywhere. Maybe a flip phone for emergency contact.

No, its just a hydrophobic coating it won't seal gaps. This really won't protect your screen or glass back from scratches or from shattering if you drop your phone.
Try this! I wouldn't use anything metal as he suggests as you might scratch you original screen.

This was for a tempered glass screen protector. Liquid screen protectors are more obnoxious
A tempered cover glass would offer better protection from scratches and if damaged it could be removed (depending on how it was applied)
