What SD card does of take

Not sure so how this will help your frozen screen. you do want to go ahead and backup all your personal files (pictures, music etc. ) and subsequently try a hard reset to restore it to factory defaults. This will erase all of your files as well as all of your settings. SO, make sure that you have all your email addresses and passwords that you need for a restore. Your tablet is a generic Android tablet, those usually do not have a standard way to Factory Reset. This should work for your Chromo:

Power off the tablet.

Press and hold both volume up and volume down key, while holding, press and hold the power button for a sec to turn it on.

Continue holding both power keys, once powered on the screen will go blank but it will be illuminated with a black screen.

Release volume keys and push volume up or down key to access recovery menu.

You can navigate the menu with vol keys. Use the power button to select the options
