Can I use an LG G2 "Optimus" LCD/Digitizer replacement part on a LG G2?
Model is D801.
I cannot tell if this is the same phone or not. Bascially, my LG G2 screen is cracked and I have a friend with an LG G2 "Optimus" LCD who says he will sell me part for cheap. I'm wondering if the part is compatible?

@chief_wun "LG G2 "Optimus"not sure what that model is. I am only aware of an LG Optimus G Pro E985 which does not have a compatible display assembly. These D800 D801 D803 LS980 VS980 should fit, but not from your friends phone. Spend the $30USD and replace the assembly with one that will fit for sure.

If I were you I would just got to a phone shop or order one for your phones version it's better unless you want to take some chances!
