What is this component?

Hello everyone.

I'm actually trying to replace my Mi Pad 2 screen + digitizer. When i tryed to unstick the broken screen + digitizer from the frame i made a damages on a component stick to the frame.

This photo is going to show you the front panel empty ( i left the broken screen + digitizer)

I zommed on top left of this front frame where is the damaged component.

I'm supposed to plug the mother borad on this :

Do you think this component is important? It's write on this : "0 w1 mp aac 160328"

When you said "radio" do you mean FM Radio, same radio that every one can have in his car?

Because the wifi is a radio sgnal (in other frequency).

Will only the FM radio be impacted or all orther radio signals like wifi and bluetooth?

probably all signals, but the damage is so minor that the effects will be negligible. So you have nothing to worry about.

WiFi and Bluetooth. Because those two usually use foil antenna under the glass or rear case, while FM radio uses your headphone wire as the antenna. Also I’m bot sure if your device has FM radio to begin with.

Antenna, you may degrade or destroy radio performance if you damage that part.

Tom chai is correct on what is. As for importance, it should still function perfectly fine with the damage, but as Tom said, it wont be as good as it used to be but it should be perfectly fine for what your using it for.

Thanks you so much. I still use an old 2012 galaxy s3 4g that run perfectly android 6.0.

Smartphones hardware upgrades is bullshit most part of time.
