Broken screen. Can not use touchscreen

I dropped my S8. The part where screen is broken still works. But, the rest of the screen, does not work. Therefore, I can't even turn phone off. And, I can't transfer pictures without touching the allow button. It won't let me. Any suggestions?

It's probably a little late, but I used Google voice to do things for me when my phone stopped letting me touch the screen. It allowed me to do many things, if you know the lingo it helps a lot. I just said "ok google (...)" with what I needed to get done on my phone before getting a replacement.

Laura Rogers the only way to fix this is by replacing the display assembly. Use this guide Samsung Galaxy S8 Screen Replacement for that

You can definitely replace the Glass and LCD with just the glass and LCD, but for ease of repair, may I suggest buying the glass and LCD with the midframe attached. It has a much better end result in how the repair appears cosmetically.

If you're not feeling that risky, look for your local Ubreakifix. Ubreakifix has a partnership with Samsung with OEM quality parts and prices lower than the part is usually listed online.
