Device not charging. tried replacement

hey guys. i do charging port replacements on a regular basis. i have soldered on all models of phones dating back to the BB9900, so i can tell you after 3 ports, that it is not the port failing.

I have also ordered and replaced the battery resulting in the same failure.

i have scoured the board under a 10X microscope, and find no physical damage to board, or related components

The device says its charging, however, the % does not go up within an hour.

It could be that the device just cannnot detect any battery that is it is given. I'd suggest checking the connection when you connect any battery.
