Hi, I have a 4 year old HP laptop which runs fine except the little button on the cd drive that ejects it does not work. I can easily eject it by doing this: http://www.fonerbooks.com/laptop12.htm
But how do i get the button to work?

It's also easy to go into My Computer, right-click on the drive, and click eject. You could also try to remove the plastic covering on the end of the tray (there are clips underneath) and see if the button still works but the plastic is preventing it from being pushed.
