1 massive frame rate drop when playing regular games
so I have owned the envy-17 for just over 7 months now and i regularly game on it, currently its fortnite and GTA5. but recently I have found that trying to play either of these game at all is impossible due to large frame rate drop and large memory usage when I have had multiple hours of game play on both with no problem on this device. I have re-installed the graphics drivers a couple of times and completed virus and malicious scans that come up with nothing. I'm running out of ideas if someone could please help it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Did anything change with the OS (or any other program updates) about the time the problem started?
Try disabling the A/V just to see if this may be causing the problem.
Have you checked Task Manager to see what programs may be running in the background that perhaps weren't there before or maybe have been updated?
