Why my Nokia 1600 keep saying insert sim card when I had put sim card?

Hi @arjunan ,

Try swapping your SIM card with another network compatible,known working SIM card from another phone and see if your card works in the other phone and the other SIM card works in your phone.

Sim cards are very precise instruments if you did not put it in properly it could be giving you this message. Otherwise it is probably a problem on the inside. open it up and check the cellular antenna wires. You can see if a wire is out of place, otherwise replace that entire piece.
