Internet connection not working

My router is working fine but it cant get an internet connection. I've reset it multiple times

Has it worked OK before?

Can you connect to the internet when you are directly connected to the modem?

Yes it works perfectly fine then sometimes at night it just completely stops working.

Just to clarify, it is the router that loses internet connection not the modem, is this correct?

If it is the router is it still showing as connected to your computer, even though there is no internet connection?

Have you tried a different WiFi channel (change in router) just to see if it behaves the same?

Have you checked that your model router has the latest firmware installed?

Hi Dawson,

This can be multiple things but you can try these following things:

-Make sure that the cable from the modem to the router is connected

-Reset the modem

-Try a diffrent ethernet cable from the modem to the router
