Fitbit Blaze only works in charger

My Fitbit Blaze works fine in the charger but shuts off immediately if the charger is unplugged or the watch is taken out of the charger. Can’t even reset using the reset procedure from Fitbit as there is no power at all. Shows 100% when in the charger. Is the battery a realistic possibility? It can’t imagine it is but the alternative sucks.

Hi,

If it works on the charger but not when on the battery only, then most likely the battery has failed and needs to be replaced.

Here’s a link to the ifixit Fitbit Blaze Battery Replacement guide, which shows how to replace the battery.

ifixit sell a battery for the watch. Here’s a link Fitbit Blaze Battery

There are also other suppliers that may suit you better. Just search online for LSSP321830 to get results.
