all that means is that your backlight is working. Your display doesn’t receive any data. Could be a GPU issue as well as a display issue. Connect another monitor to your HDMI port and see if that shows anything. Of course you do want to disconnect everything from your computer at first to make sure there are no conflicts with it booting up.
