So I just got my screen replaced and have had the display just go black. When using the home button to unlock the phone it will remain black and the lights under the touch buttons light up and nothing happens, the display after some time will reswitch on. I'm wondering if the guys that fixed my phone may have not connected the screen on properly and what I could do to fix this.

Hi,
Suggest that you take it back to the guys that fixed it and show them the problem.
It should have been checked before being handed back to you and any repairer "worth their salt" will give a guarantee on their workmanship for at least 30 days, barring user misuse of course.

I also have some what of a similar problem, i as well got my screen replaced, since then all of a sudden the display starts to flicker with full brightness.
I am using it on maximum brightness and it seems to be working. I am using S8+.
