Car shaking while idle

A week ago my car ran hot out of the blue I got to a safe place and let the engine cool and i added water . The car crank and it got me home I drove it for 2 days after that without it overheating but my car would Shake whenever I had to stop at a stop sign or stop light on the third day I checked my water in the radiator and it was empty I then proceeded to add water as I was adding water I could sifu is leaking out of the side of my engine the left side after that I put my car in the shop the shop called me and told me I needed a new water pump and spark plugs and an oil change as I was 100 miles over an oil change few days later shop called me back told me I had a blown head gasket I picked my car up I was told I could drive it safely home which was only a mile away which I did but again at every stop sign the car would Shakeit drives smothly in motion though now I have no idea exactly what the problem is or why the car is shaking and i havent seen any more leaks.
