No service after charge port repair
I have a Verizon s9 sm-960u and afternoon the charge port replacement it doesn’t get service but it does read a SIM card

Did the cables for the cellular antenna get connected back to where they belong? I think they are blue and white and they are connected from the daughter board and the main board.

If all the connections and covers are in correct place, try to call 911 if you see the message “Turning Radio On”, the charging port if for another model or is damaged.

Tried calling 911 and got the message "Turning Radio On" as mentioned in the previous comment. Phone model is SM-G960W. I'm thinking the g960U replacement part isn't compatible
Most of the time, US and international parts are not interchangeable.
I had this issue if u look on your new charger port in bottom right handside there should be a gold prong that touches the side of the housing to get signal the new one I bought didn't have this and I belive this causes the no signal issue

Yes you need to check it has the little gold prong I ended up taking my old board to a shop and having a new port soldered onto it worked straight away
Yeah, I got my customer's old board back and it's the small pin on the right of the charging port, how annoying...
