Unable to hold a charge
My GBA SP is unable to hold a charge, i can stick the charger in and the charge light wont light up. I think its not the battery, but a short in the charging input. anyone know some fixes?

Just for kicks and giggles, has any of you two tried to clean the battery contacts. make sure that the contacts are actually getting to the battery and check the fuse as well. I would do that before trying to send it off.

what makes you think that it is not the battery? Follow pollytintop's advise and change the battery first.

What is your model number on this? You will find it on the bottom of the case. The model number is either going to end in 001 (the original one) or 101 (New Brighter Screen). When you plug the charger in does the charging lite briefly flicker (turn on then off quickly) as you plug it in or does it remain off.

mine ends with 001 and the charging light comes on when i plug it in then goes off instantly i just installed a new battery and got a new charger also and still the same thing.
