How you you replace touch screen?
I have purchased a touch screen replacement for my laptop and need the steps to remove the old and replace with the new screen.

Is the touchscreen physically damaged or is it just that it doesn’t work?
If just not working have you checked the status of the touchscreen in Device Manager > Human Interface Devices > HID Compliant touchscreen to see if it is OK?
Here’s the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop.
Go to p.56 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the LCD unit.
It’s interesting to note that the manual doesn’t show the touchscreen as a separate component in the LCD FRU diagram on p.80 or in the parts list on p.81 or in the parts list on the Lenovo support page for the laptop. Click on Select commodity > LCD Assemblies
Hopefully this doesn’t mean that it is an integrated assembly, LCD and touchscreen combined. Just a thought.
