Upgrade storage with an ssd

It looks like your’s is the model that already has a HDD installed and perhaps you can add a SSD, as there is provision for a sata HDD and an M.2 SSD on the motherboard or if you can add the M.2 SSD then you can have 2 x SSD by replacing the HDD with a sata SSD and adding a M.2 SSD as well.

Here’s the maintenance and service guide for the laptop, taken from this webpage.

Go to p.62 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/replace the HDD.

Go to p.67 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/replace the M.2 SSD.

Here’s a link to a RAM and SSD supplier. It is only to show you what SSD (sata and M.2) are compatible with the laptop. There are other suppliers that may suit you better. You can also upgrade the ram to a maximum of 16GB (2 x 8GB) as well if you want to.
